電気設計マネージャー/ Electrical Design Manager

A renowned data centre infrastructure company is looking for an Electrical Design Manager. The selected candidate will lead the delivery of electrical systems design and project execution for data centre construction and expansion projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage construction and project delivery for new data centre facilities and major upgrades
• Assess land suitability for data centre development from technical and infrastructure perspectives
• Conduct full-scope technical due diligence during site acquisition
• Support tenant onboarding by evaluating the electrical infrastructure and integration with tenant systems
• Respond to increasing electrical load and redundancy needs in high-density environments
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated electrical design and construction outcomes
• Act as primary client representative, coordinating with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical, computer engineering or related field
• More than 5 years of technical project management experience
• Proven experience in site due diligence, design development, and technical stakeholder management
• Prior experience with power distribution, redundant electrical systems (UPS, generators), and engineering in high-availability environments
• Experience managing contractors; understanding of local codes (電気設備技術基準, JIS, IEEE)
• Skilled in electrical system design and supervision for data centres or mission-critical facilities
• Possess a valid license as 電気主任技術者 (Chief Electrical Engineer) or equivalent
• Bilingual level Japanese and English
