Head of Product & Application Marketing

A renowned construction and building materials company is looking for a Head of Product & Application Marketing. The selected candidate will lead a diverse team to drive product and application marketing initiatives across various business units.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a diverse team across business units, ensuring alignment with company goals
• Oversee product portfolio performance, ensuring strong reputation and clear value propositions
• Develop and execute strategies for introducing new products to the market
• Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to monitor sales trends and optimise stock levels
• Define and refine data insights for actionable product marketing plans and pricing strategies
• Assess market opportunities, especially in Japan, and develop new applications for emerging industries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing or a relevant domain (Master’s degree is a plus)
• More than 10 years of professional experience
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams across multiple business units
• Prior experience in managing full product lifecycle
• Proven experience in B2B settings
• Background in leveraging market insights and analytics to make data-driven decisions and optimising short and long-term business opportunities
• Skilled in creating effective value propositions, optimising product portfolios, and implementing successful marketing campaigns
• Proficient in business planning (strategic development, performance monitoring, etc.)
• Business level Japanese and English
