Healthcare & Life Sciences Director

A global consulting firm is seeking a Healthcare & Life Sciences Manager/Senior Manager or Senior Director/Partner. The selected candidate will lead client projects, develop strategic solutions, and drive business growth in the healthcare sector. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead client-facing projects in strategy, pricing, marketing, and sales
• Oversee project phases, from data analysis to strategy development
• Guide and mentor consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive business opportunities
• Contribute to business development, including proposal creation and lead generation
• Support team development through recruitment, training, and mentorship

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, medical, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• 4-7 years of experience in consulting or healthcare & life sciences
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical technology, or healthcare IT is ideal
• Strong expertise in commercial strategy, new product planning, and market access
• Proven ability to analyse complex problems and develop strategic recommendations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent level Japanese and English
