調達マネージャー/ Procurement Manager

A multinational commercial vehicle and transportation solutions company is looking for a Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will lead sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and support procurement strategies for development projects and new technologies while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve procurement targets and execute sourcing activities within assigned projects
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for new technologies and development initiatives
• Conduct supplier benchmarking and assess sourcing options to optimise cost, quality, and lead time
• Lead RFQ and RFP processes, evaluate supplier quotations, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms
• Define technical and commercial requirements for components, prototypes, and services
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance against contractual expectations
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, quality, and internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives
• Support budgeting activities and monitor procurement-related spending
• Conduct market research and data analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Support category management initiatives and contribute to procurement strategy execution

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in procurement
• Business level Japanese; proficient in English (TOEIC 700+)
