調達マネージャー/ Procurement Manager

A global FMCG company is seeking a Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will develop and execute procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and optimise spend while aligning with global and affiliate objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Define procurement objectives aligned with global strategies and lead the team to meet targets
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop procurement plans and optimise spend
• Manage key supplier relationships, negotiate terms, ensuring the best quality-price-service balance
• Drive sustainability initiatives within procurement activities
• Conduct market and category research to inform strategy and recommendations
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure cost savings and favourable payment terms
• Identify synergies and coordinate sourcing initiatives across multiple levels

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of procurement experience in indirect procurement within FMCG or multinational environments
• Practical experience with Marketing or Commercial Operations categories is ideal
• Expertise in leading complex sourcing events such as RFPs
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills on key contracts
• Ability to collaborate with global and regional teams
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, cash flow improvement, and currency exchange
• Native level written and verbal Japanese; business level English
