A global logistics company is hiring a National Customs Manager. The selected candidate will oversee compliance with customs regulations and manage trade control operations. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with customs laws, tariffs, and trade agreements
• Oversee preparation and accuracy of customs documentation
• Manage export control compliance and trade restrictions
• Conduct screening to prevent restricted imports/exports
• Implement procedures to mitigate customs compliance risks
• Manage relationships with brokers, freight forwarders, and customs agencies

Requirements:

• Understanding of customs brokerage
• Knowledge of trade control
• Professional level Japanese and English
