QAマネージャー/ QA Manager

A global advanced digital security solutions company is looking for a QA Manager. The selected candidate will ensure the highest quality standards across maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, while driving compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives within the service centre.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the Défense Service Centre supporting the Ministry of Défense and industrial partners
• Develop, implement, and review quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance across operations
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify improvement areas and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Lead third-party certifications such as ISO and oversee external audits and renewal processes
• Maintain documentation of quality processes, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and internal teams to align quality standards across operations
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation activities related to service and process quality
• Analyse and report quality metrics, trends, and insights to senior management
• Participate in pre-shipment and pre-delivery inspections at global factories and warehouses

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field
• More than 3 years of experience in quality assurance roles
• Experience in defence, aerospace, or manufacturing sectors
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or CMMI
• Experience in data analysis and quality reporting tools
• Ability and willingness to travel within Japan and internationally as required
• Advanced proficiency in English; native level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or similar quality improvement methodologies
• Possess valid professional certifications such as Six Sigma or CQE
