EHSスタッフ/ EHS Staff

A multinational food manufacturing company is seeking an EHS Staff. The selected candidate will plan and implement EHS programmes, ensure regulatory compliance, lead safety and sustainability initiatives, and support a safe and secure working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement EHS initiatives to prevent workplace accidents and improve safety standards
• Develop and promote initiatives related to Natural Resource Conservation (NRC)
• Maintain and enhance fire prevention and security measures within the plant
• Conduct EHS training for employees and stakeholders and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Manage communication with authorities regarding EHS matters
• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Implement preventive and corrective measures based on investigation outcomes
• Drive initiatives to reduce energy and water consumption and minimise food waste
• Prepare and submit regular EHS and NRC reports to global headquarters
• Plan and implement security measures to protect employees, facilities, and company assets

Requirements:

• Technical degree or equivalent (KOSEN)
• Experience in EHS management or equivalent knowledge
• Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and environmental regulations
• Experience in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and implementing corrective actions
• Professional level Japanese; basic level English
