CQE/ CQE

A renowned electronic manufacturer is looking for a CQE. The selected candidate will handle customer quality issues, lead root cause investigations, and support cross-functional quality improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer QNs from intake to resolution, including claims, alerts, and derogations
• Conduct initial analysis of returned parts from OEMs and field claims
• Coordinate with plants and suppliers to resolve quality issues using 8D methodology
• Represent the company in customer communications and submit verified 8D reports
• Organise and follow up on sorting actions and associated costs at customer sites
• Prepare internal and external quality reports and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical or mechanical engineering
• More than 3 years of experience as a quality engineer in the automotive domain
• Prior experience with Japanese OEMs of automotive domain
• Proven experience working overseas
• Understanding of automotive electronic components
• Knowledge of quality audit methodology
• Possess valid auditor certification
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level Japanese and English
