クオリティマネージャー/ Quality Manager

A multinational food manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Manager. The selected candidate will oversee product quality across the entire value chain, from production to consumer, and drive quality improvements in logistics, retail, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure consumer service quality by managing inquiries, complaints, and call centre activities
• Investigate critical complaints, conduct product checks, and coordinate with the Commercial Quality Management team
• Inspect products and promotional items to ensure compliance with Japan regulations and internal standards
• Oversee warehouse quality control and supply chain assessments, including distributor audits and traceability tests
• Support product specification updates, SOP development, and customs documentation
• Participate in quality-related projects, crisis management, and cross-functional meetings
• Stay informed on industry regulations and represent the company in relevant associations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in food science, food chemistry, or analytical chemistry
• Practical experience in the food industry
• Experience in consumer service and client management
• Prior SAP experience is a plus
• Proven knowledge of production techniques and quality standards in the Japanese food industry
• Understanding of supply chain operations and warehouse assessments
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English
