QC/ QC

A renowned electronics and payment solutions company is looking for a QC professional. The selected candidate will lead quality assurance for payment terminals, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous product improvement. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain quality standards for payment terminals
• Communicate quality requirements to HQ and suppliers and provide improvement guidance
• Conduct quality evaluations and develop outgoing inspection standards during production ramp-up
• Collect and analyse market quality data to support product improvements
• Support quality verification aligned with security and regulatory requirements
• Lead corrective and preventive actions using tools like FMEA and 5 Whys
• Collaborate with software QA, engineering, and customer support teams
• Operate and support audits of quality management systems such as ISO 9001

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in quality control of hardware products
• Practical experience in managing EMS and suppliers
• Prior experience in operating quality systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 27001
• Experience in payment terminal, communication device, or IoT quality control
• Proficient in QC methods such as FMEA, 5 Whys, histograms, and control charts
• Skilled in Excel and statistical data analysis tools
• Possess a valid certification or knowledge of EMC/security testing, Radio Act, PCI DSS, or related
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in English and Chinese
