サプライヤー品質エンジニア/ Supplier Quality Engineer

A global advanced semiconductor equipment company is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). The selected candidate will manage supplier quality, drive process improvements, and ensure manufacturing readiness from NPI through high-volume production. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as technical liaison across product, manufacturing, supply chain, and ceramic suppliers
• Lead supplier development, qualification, and readiness for NPI to HVM transition
• Drive resolution of supplier quality issues using RCCA and structured methodologies
• Conduct supplier audits on processes and QMS to ensure compliance and improvement
• Apply statistical and quality tools to optimise process capability and yield
• Present technical insights, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements:

• PhD in Ceramics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related domain
• Experience in ceramic materials and manufacturing processes (forming, sintering, machining, grinding, polishing, surface treatment)
• Prior experience designing, executing, and interpreting material characterisation techniques (SEM/EDS, XRD)
• Skilled with statistical analysis tools (JMP or Minitab)
• Professional level English (Japanese is a plus)
