カスタマーサービス担当/ Customer Service Representative
A global chemical company is searching for a Customer Service Representative. The selected applicant will be responsible for end-to-end order management, customer service support, and logistics coordination to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage order fulfilment processes, including sales orders, debit/credit notes, rebates, commissions, purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoicing in SAP
- Coordinate with supply points and logistics partners to ensure timely shipment and fulfilment of customer orders
- Follow up and monitor open orders, track shipments, review documents, identify and resolve issues, and keep customers and relevant internal functions informed of any deviations
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding SAP order updates, including order confirmations, delivery schedules, pricing, forecasts, order solicitation, and delivery dates
- Investigate and resolve customer queries within set service targets
- Arrange import and export shipping documents and required certificates
- Coordinate import and export customs clearance with agents
- Input data into the system for import tax and duty payments
- Arrange local deliveries according to customer requirements by liaising with transport service providers
- Manage inventory control through supply and demand forecasting
- Support inter-company transfer price calculations by providing logistics cost data
- Perform administrative duties such as document filing, dispatching documents, and sending product samples through courier services
- Ensure full compliance in order processing and logistics documentation in accordance with internal policies and external regulations
Requirements:
- College diploma or above (bachelor’s degree is preferred)
- Strong knowledge of import and export procedures and related documentation
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Experience working in a multinational corporate environment
- Proficient in MS Office
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Japanese; business level written and verbal English
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of Letter of Credit processes
