キーアカウントマネージャー/ Key Account Manager
A multinational logistics and supply chain company is looking for a Key Account Manager. The selected candidate will build strong partnerships with key clients and drive strategic account growth through cross-functional collaboration. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients across departments
- Understand client and industry needs, and anticipate market trends
- Propose solutions aligned with client goals and manage performance-level expectations
- Resolve client issues and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Participate in RFPs, contract negotiations, and conduct formal business reviews
- Attend national and local industry events to expand the network
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance sales impact
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets expectations
- Identify value-added services with the Value Engineering and Customer Success teams
- Lead internal process improvement initiatives and track their progress
- Develop strategic account plans with detailed yearly action items
- Report account performance and client insights regularly to regional teams
- Analyse client data in the context of industry trends
- Maintain accurate client records and activity logs in Salesforce
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and complete required training
- Coach and mentor junior sales team members
- Travel to client sites as needed, including interstate
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field
- More than 5 years of experience in complex solution selling to C-level executives
- Proven experience in the logistics or supply chain industry
- Skilled in MS Office Suite and CRM (Salesforce)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Possess a valid MBA qualification is a plus
- Professional level Japanese; fluent level English
