Head of BESS

A renowned renewable energy company is looking for a Head of BESS. The selected candidate will lead the energy storage strategy and oversee the full lifecycle of utility-scale storage projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the company’s energy storage strategy
• Support project origination and analysis for utility-scale storage projects
• Design storage systems and evaluate technology options for optimization
• Coordinate with internal teams on interconnection, market assessment, and project execution
• Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables across development projects
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a relevant domain (master’s degree or MBA is a plus)
• More than 10 years of experience in the energy domain
• More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role (focused on BESS or related technologies)
• Knowledge of BESS technologies, grid integration, and renewable energy systems
• Excellent project management
• Language
