シニアリサーチアナリスト/ Senior Research Analyst - Power & Renewables

A multinational energy research firm is seeking a Senior Research Analyst. The selected candidate will analyse market trends, develop research reports, and engage with clients to provide strategic insights. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analyse power and renewables trends in Japan and Asia Pacific
• Develop and update models, forecasts, and high-impact research reports
• Engage with clients, presenting insights on market strategies and investment decisions
• Collaborate with internal experts and contribute to consulting projects
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and media discussions
• Work with stakeholders including utilities, investors, energy firms, and policymakers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, science, business, economics, finance, or similar (master’s or PhD preferred)
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in market analysis, modelling, forecasting, or power trading
• Knowledge of Japan’s power and energy markets with an established network of industry contacts
• Fluent level written and verbal English and Japanese
