事業開発マネージャー/ Business Development Manager

An international electrical and infrastructure company is looking for a Business Development Manager for Data Centre Cooling in Japan. The selected candidate will drive strategic sales growth, develop executive relationships, and lead demand generation for high-density cooling and power solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic business development across hyperscale cloud providers, colocation operators, and enterprise data centre accounts in Japan and Korea
• Develop and communicate value propositions for cooling and power solutions including CDU, in-rack cooling, and integrated data centre systems
• Build and manage a long-term pipeline of data centre projects from early engagement through proof-of-concept and budgeting stages
• Establish and maintain senior-level and technical stakeholder relationships within strategic enterprise accounts
• Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and product teams to design tailored solutions for complex customer requirements
• Lead coordination of RFP processes and ensure competitive, integrated solution delivery across the portfolio
• Represent the company at industry events and forums to support thought leadership in data centre cooling and efficiency
• Monitor market trends, sustainability developments, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or Business
• Experience in business development or enterprise sales within data centre infrastructure
• Strong understanding of data centre technologies, power distribution, and project environments
• Experience engaging hyperscale cloud, MTDC operators, or enterprise data centre clients
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with liquid cooling or advanced data centre thermal solutions
• Exposure to sustainability initiatives or AI-driven data centre expansion trends
• Participation in industry bodies or alliances (e.g., OCP or similar organisations)
• Possess a valid MBA qualification
