プロジェクトマネージャー/ Project Manager

A global construction and project management consultancy is seeking a Project Manager. The selected candidate will oversee end-to-end project delivery, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project management commissions and ensure full lifecycle delivery of data centre projects
• Act as primary client interface and ensure alignment with project objectives and expectations
• Advise on project strategy and approaches at the initial conception stage
• Define and establish project success criteria including time, cost, and performance metrics
• Manage project planning, governance, systems, and reporting structures
• Oversee quality, health, safety, and environmental management throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder collaboration
• Monitor project performance using KPIs and implement improvements where necessary
• Manage change control processes and oversee project financial performance
• Ensure timely communication and reporting between project teams and clients
• Lead procurement planning and resource allocation
• Support business development activities including client pitches and bid preparation
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to new business generation
• Maintain project documentation, case studies, and internal knowledge databases
• Support internal team management, including mentoring and contributing to staff evaluations
• Drive process improvements and ensure efficient project delivery aligned with company standards

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of experience in project management within construction or related environments
• Experience in leading medium to large-scale construction or data centre projects
• Experience across full project lifecycle including design, procurement, and commissioning
• Experience in negotiating with regulatory agencies and managing construction changes
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Background in construction, engineering, surveying, architecture, or information technology
• Possess a valid professional qualification in project management, engineering, or related disciplines
• Business level Japanese and English
