営業マネージャー/ Sales Manager
A global supply chain solutions company is seeking a Sales Manager. The selected candidate will develop sales strategies, manage P&L, lead teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead local sales teams and manage Japan P&L to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve customer satisfaction, sales targets, and team performance
- Collaborate with Marketing to implement sales and marketing programmes and initiatives
- Establish sales objectives through forecasting and quota development across territories
- Analyse market trends, demand, and competition to optimise sales volume, pricing, and product mix
- Project sales volumes and profit expectations for existing and new product lines
- Coordinate order management processes including quotations, proposals, and customer issue resolution
- Monitor costs and market conditions to adjust billing margins and pricing strategies
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to build a high-performing team
- Coach and evaluate team performance through ongoing monitoring and feedback
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational, inventory, and customer-related issues
- Communicate sales forecasts and performance insights to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field
- More than 5 years of experience in professional sales within a related industry
- More than 2 years of experience managing staff and sales programmes at the national, district, or regional level
- Experience in sales team management, sales programme development, and customer relationship management
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and customer satisfaction management
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Professional level Japanese and English
