シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant

A global fashion company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounts receivable, support wholesale billing, and handle closing and audit activities. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage invoicing and ensure accurate revenue recognition
• Perform cash application and reconcile AR including bank and payment matching
• Reconcile receivables from wholesale and retail partners and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor outstanding balances and coordinate with Sales on collections
• Support billing processes, maintain customer data, and prepare sales and collection reports
• Handle expense processing, journal entries, and assist in closing and audit activities

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of accounting experience
• Experience in AR
• Prior experience with ERP systems
• Proven experience in accounting operations such as reporting and communication
• Background in accounting systems (SAP)
• Prior background with finance-related systems
• Understanding of wholesale business or department store transactions
• Knowledge of accounting principles (JGAAP and/or IFRS)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in multinational companies, or retail/ fashion industry
