Sales Director
A global food manufacturing company is looking for a Sales Director (Distribution). The selected candidate will drive strategic growth, expand market reach, and optimise distribution operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business targets
- Maximise sales potential by aligning commercial and operational teams
- Optimise route-to-market strategies for premium and super-premium segments
- Expand customer base and market segments through targeted initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team through coaching and performance management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (business commercial subject or food technologist is ideal)
- 12-15 years of experience in a commercial B2B setting (multinational company in the food industry or FMCG is ideal)
- Experience in the chocolate industry is preferred
- Background in developing new customers, new products, and new market segments
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Suite
- Business level English; native level Japanese
