営業部長/ Sales Manager
A global chemical company is looking for a Manager Sales Japan/Korea. The selected candidate will drive regional sales strategy, manage key accounts, and optimise commercial performance through market insights and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies with senior leadership for key accounts
- Build and strengthen relationships with customers, distributors, and agents
- Manage agency and distribution agreements aligned with production assets
- Analyse market trends, import/export data, and sales performance to inform strategy
- Drive business growth through sales planning, forecasting, and budget execution
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a scientific discipline (chemistry-related field is ideal)
- More than 15 years of relevant sales management experience (multinational or trading company environment is preferred)
- More than 10 years of account management experience overseeing key customer relationships
- More than 3 years of team management experience, including supervision of direct reports
- Understanding of financial and accounting principles relevant to business operations
- Knowledge of trading practices (import and export principles)
- Proficient in planning and executing business and sales strategies
- Skilled in MS Office Suite
- Background in trading operations and commercial activities (sales and marketing)
- Business level written and spoken English
