ゼネラルマネージャーHR/ General Manager Human Resources
A global aviation services company is looking for a General Manager Human Resources. The selected candidate will lead HR strategy, oversee operations, ensure compliance, and partner with senior leadership to drive organisational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute medium- and long-term HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead labour cost planning and forecasting to support workforce and financial planning
- Manage, coach, and evaluate HR team members to build a high-performing HR function
- Oversee and improve HR operations including payroll, benefits, labour relations, HR systems, employment rules, HR data management, attendance, and union relations
- Ensure full compliance with Japanese labour laws and employment regulations
- Act as HR advisor to branch managers and general managers across Japan
- Provide HR reporting and insights to executive leadership to support decision-making
- Lead payroll outsourcing initiatives and implementation of global HR database systems
- Collaborate with APAC and the global headquarters on HR projects and reporting
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of experience in human resources within a company of 300+ employees
- More than 5 years of experience managing HR teams
- Strong experience in labour law compliance and handling labour and union matters in Japan
- Hands-on experience in payroll and HR operations in Japan
- Ability to work with senior leadership and influence business decisions through HR insights
- Fluent level Japanese; business level English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in a multinational or foreign-owned company
- Experience leading payroll transformation or HR digitalisation projects
