サプライチェーンスペシャリスト/ Supply Chain Specialist

An international chemical manufacturer is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist. The selected candidate will oversee supply scheduling, sourcing, inventory management, and coordination with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop time-phased supply schedules to meet business requirements while considering plant-wide constraints
• Execute regional or global sourcing rules to optimise efficiency
• Implement or manage external manufacturing agreements
• Operate site or regional planning models and optimise information technology usage
• Coordinate integration of internal demand, utilities, and environmental operations
• Monitor and manage inventory status to align with business plans
• Address supply issues, such as product shortages or production capacity constraints
• Collaborate with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, and third-party providers to resolve unplanned events
• Maintain production parameters, ensuring effective planning processes
• Follow best practices and governance over master data
• Support global supply chain initiatives through cross-team collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (supply chain management, business, engineering, or other sciences is ideal)
• Knowledge of customer needs
• Excellent PC skills
• Professional level Japanese and English
