Head of Client Reporting

A renowned asset management firm is seeking a Head of Client Reporting. The selected candidate will lead the Tokyo client reporting team and ensure accurate, high-quality production and delivery of client reports.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of client reporting professionals
• Oversee the end-to-end reporting process, including offshored and outsourced workflows
• Drive and contribute to client reporting projects on local and global scales
• Resolve operational and reporting issues while providing updates to management
• Evaluate team capability and ensure readiness for business needs
• Collaborate with internal and overseas stakeholders for process alignment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Experience in institutional client reporting (public pensions, financial institutions and retail fund reporting)
• Prior experience in managing a reporting team
• Proven experience in reporting data or platform changes
• Understanding of investment products (equity, fixed income, and alternatives)
• Knowledge of accounting, performance/attribution, and reporting-related regulations (Basel III)
• Possess valid CFA, CMA, or similar certification is a plus
• Fluent level English; native level Japanese
