MLエンジニア/ ML Engineer (AI Specialist)

A growing technology company is looking for an ML Engineer (AI Specialist). The selected candidate will develop AI programmes and models, conduct research and implementation experiments across computer vision, natural language processing, document analysis and LLMs, and contribute to AI-focused product development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop AI programmes and implement AI models for accounting-focused products
• Develop common AI infrastructure across web application, AI engine API, and electronic invoicing platform projects
• Conduct research and implementation experiments in image recognition, natural language processing, document analysis, LLMs, deep learning, and data analysis
• Research academic papers and reproduce relevant implementations
• Develop APIs, implement AI models, and create prototypes
• Collaborate with research scientists and engineers in Scrum teams to deliver AI development projects
• Provide technical input to improve system development, product quality, development efficiency, and team capabilities
• Participate in and contribute to technical study groups

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in CS field
• Experience implementing models using Python in the development of business applications
• Research experience related to CV or NLP
• Ability to independently research the latest papers and conduct implementation experiments
• Business level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Ph.D. in CS field
• Experience in machine learning research, academic paper writing, and conference presentations
• Experience in research or development using LLM
• Experience with LLM research and development
• Experience contributing to Open Source Software
• Experience in agile product development
