プロジェクトマネージャー/ Project Manager

An international IT services company is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The successful candidate will lead client-facing IT projects, manage stakeholders and global delivery teams, and drive project delivery across Japan-based and offshore teams. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise data warehouse, BI, and AI platform development projects
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and Generative AI solutions
• Drive system development and transformation projects for airline and logistics clients
• Manage system development, integration, testing, and migration projects
• Lead digital platform implementation and delivery for life sciences clients
• Coordinate Japanese stakeholders and global delivery teams
• Manage ServiceNow platform implementation and ITIL process transformation projects
• Manage cloud introduction, migration, and operational modernisation projects
• Lead application managed services transition and steady-state service delivery
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout project delivery
• Lead projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Coordinate requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and project reporting

Requirements:

• 5-12 years of experience in IT project management
• Strong client-facing experience, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and project reporting
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Business level Japanese (JLPT N2+)

Preferred requirements:

• Background with a consulting firm, SIer, or global IT vendor
• Industry or domain expertise in Financial Services, Trading Companies, Airlines, Logistics, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Data and AI, Cloud, or ServiceNow and ITSM
• Possess a valid PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent project management certification
