プロジェクトマネージャー/ Project Manager – Data & AI Platform Development

A global technology services company is looking for a Project Manager to lead the development of a group-wide Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and AI platform for a major global enterprise. The selected candidate will coordinate client requirements, manage Japan-based and India-based development teams, oversee project progress, issues, risks, quality and scope, and drive stakeholder communication and solution implementation. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate requirements, organise issues, and manage stakeholder communication with the client
• Manage development teams, including the Japan-based onsite team and India-based global team
• Manage project progress, issues, risks, quality, and scope
• Prepare reports and provide updates to internal stakeholders and the client
• Drive solution implementation plans based on an understanding of the client’s business processes and challenges

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of professional experience in IT
• More than 5 years of project management experience
• Experience managing teams of 10 or more members
• Experience communicating with external clients
• Experience in requirements definition and coordination
• Experience managing project progress, issues, and risks
• Native level Japanese; business advanced level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in a Japanese-English bilingual environment or with global teams
• Experience managing large-scale projects
• Experience delivering projects using offshore teams
• Knowledge or practical experience with Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, ETL, Business Intelligence, and Master Data Management
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of data-related technologies and tools such as Informatica, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, and Power BI
