データアーキテクト/ Data Architect

A global digital services and consulting company is looking for a Data Architect. The chosen applicant will be responsible for designing data management architectures and solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Advocate for the client and provide thought leadership in data analytics and data engineering
• Understand functional and non-functional requirements to define the holistic data management system architecture
• Demonstrate compelling business value to the client through data architecture and solutions aligned with business scenarios
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to outline data management standards, guidelines, governing principles, and policies aligned with client requirements
• Identify use cases, document process flows and data flows, outline data management approaches, and define data models
• Specify data compliance, regulations, and access methods aligned with requirements
• Create data reference architectures and frameworks
• Support pre-sales activities, proposal creation, solution design, and project delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education
• More than 15 years of experience in Information Technology
• More than 10 years of experience in Data analytics architecture and solutioning
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Bilingual level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in Data analytics architecture, Advanced analytics, Data engineering and Data governance areas
• Experience in tools like Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, Collibra, Talend, etc.
• Experience in hyperscalers like AWS. Azure or GCP
• Experience in leading teams and managing client expectations
• Experience in software development life cycle (Agile methodology is preferred)
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Ability to manage large data analytics programs, data design solutions, and delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
