MLOpsエンジニア/ MLOps Engineer

A multinational professional services organisation is seeking an MLOps Engineer. The selected candidate will work with data scientists to productionise analytical solutions, manage CI/CD and cloud environments, monitor and maintain models, and research best practices in AI quality, governance, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with data scientists to implement and operate technologies addressing advanced business challenges, including testing, validation, and evaluation of analytical algorithms and models
• Hand prototypes of analytical solutions from test environments into production by designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and applying Infrastructure as Code
• Select appropriate delivery models and support environment setup, implementation, operation, monitoring, maintenance, and deployment
• Manage the lifecycle of analytical solutions, including system monitoring, data distribution, model accuracy, bias verification, version updates, model retraining, and security reviews
• Research cutting-edge trends, operational frameworks, and best practices in quality control, data governance, and security standards within AI and analytics

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in computer science, mathematics, natural science, statistics, engineering, or a related field
• More than 3 years of continuous hands-on experience using Python
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with version control, testing, pull requests, code review, CI/CD, and containerisation
• More than 1 year of hands-on experience implementing or operating applications in cloud environments or training machine learning models
• Experience implementing and operating at least one technical framework in machine learning, optimisation, NLP/LLM-related technologies, computer vision, causal inference, reinforcement learning, or time series analysis
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Development experience with algorithms or models in machine learning, optimisation, NLP/LLM-related technologies, computer vision, causal inference, reinforcement learning, or time series analysis
• Experience with AI safety, AI fairness, or AI governance
• Ability to rapidly build analytical prototypes and expertise across the full pipeline from data acquisition to analysis, visualisation, and interpretation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, system monitoring and operations tools, and Azure
• Experience working at a consulting firm, particularly providing services directly to clients or external stakeholders
