DBAリードプラットフォームスペシャリスト/ DBA Lead Platform Specialist

A global insurance company is looking for a DBA Lead Platform Specialist. The chosen applicant will be responsible for leading both projects (cloud migration principally) and BAU operations. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver servers on time, on quality, and on budget
• Manage the team and administer servers
• Identify problems and lead daily operations and projects
• Conduct regular system audits from a perspective of identifying opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate effectively with overseas colleagues in projects and BAU
• Participate in the move to Cloud program

Requirements:

• Good server engineering skills
• Good knowledge of OS and Database administration
• Deep Knowledge of distributed domains (Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Operating System (Windows, RHEL), Infrastructure fundamental services like AD, DNS, DHCP, proxy, monitoring tools, etc.)
• Knowledge of database products Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgresSQL, MySQL, NoSQL DB, etc.
• Basic Knowledge of finance, human resources, and procurement
• Strong negotiation skills with vendors
• Excellent communication skills
• Storage experience is a plus
• Business level English (Japanese is preferred)
