クラウド・コネクティビティ シニアマネージャー/ Cloud & Connectivity Sr. Manager

An international pharmaceutical organisation is looking for a Senior Manager, Cloud and Connectivity Platform. The selected candidate will lead platform governance, security, architecture, cost optimisation, project delivery, team management, and vendor relationships across global cloud and connectivity environments.

Responsibilities:

• Own the Azure platform, including landing zone design, policy enforcement, subscription strategy, tagging, and identity and access controls
• Ensure Azure environments, landing zones, and resources remain secure, compliant, stable, and aligned with Microsoft best practices and regulatory requirements
• Own the global network architecture across approximately 90 offices and 12 SD-WAN sites, including partner contracts and service delivery coordination
• Govern the Azure vWAN intercontinental backbone, including hub topology, routing, ExpressRoute, and VPN connectivity across EMEA, APAC, and North America
• Define infrastructure standards for reliability, availability, and disaster recovery with architecture and service delivery teams and validate their practical implementation
• Own Azure cloud cost governance and establish FinOps practices and reporting to optimise workloads and resources
• Define and enforce network security standards covering segmentation, zero-trust access, firewall governance, and secure internet breakout
• Establish observability standards and SLAs covering availability, latency, and redundancy across the connectivity estate
• Lead capacity planning, lifecycle management, innovation, and continuous improvement to keep cloud and network components supported, patched, and fit for purpose
• Contribute to the Global IT Infrastructure strategy and roadmap, particularly across Cloud and Connectivity
• Hire, develop, and retain team members and manage the Cloud and Connectivity domain budget
• Apply ITIL principles and contribute to Change Management and the Change Advisory Board for the assigned domain

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• More than 10 years of experience in Information Systems Infrastructure, cloud networking, and design
• Several years of experience as a global team leader with extensive remote management experience
• Proven track record of delivering business-oriented results, ROI-based project plans, and global projects
• Experience owning and continuously improving cloud environments based on ITIL practices
• Experience working across international and Japanese IT markets, regional teams, and global stakeholders in operational and project environments
• Broad knowledge of Information Systems Infrastructure and cloud environments, including cloud platforms, networks, Windows systems, workstations, AVD architecture, Azure IaaS and PaaS, and disaster recovery with Azure Site Recovery
• Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure networking, network management, SD-WAN, and Cisco products
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid Cisco and Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-500, or equivalent
