アセットマネージャー/ Asset Manager

An Asset Manager role is now open in an international data center company. The chosen applicant will oversee the management and optimisation of the company’s data center assets, including development projects, financial planning, and portfolio performance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of the company’s data center assets, including development projects, monthly OPEX payments, and portfolio optimisation
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset performance while adhering to financial and operational best practices to minimise potential risks
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including analysis of financial statements, market trends, and economic data to provide insights and recommendations
• Prepare and manage the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts, monitor actual performance against budget, and provide variance analysis
• Prepare comprehensive asset management reports for management, stakeholders, and financial institutions
• Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations and company policies, and stay updated on changes in financial legislation and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, or a similar role within the Japanese market
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Master’s degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA)
• Experience working in a multinational organisation
• Knowledge of local asset management standards
• Experience with portfolio management and investment advisory
• Experience in project development including dealing with local authorities, local communities, utilities, as well as possess land title knowledge
