プロセスエンジニアリングマネージャー/ Process Engineering Manager

A global industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Process Engineering Manager. The selected applicant will oversee production processes, product and process quality, continuous improvement, and the development of the process engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Organise and coordinate production processes with the team, ensuring product and process quality and continuous improvement in productivity, reliability, and speed
• Lead engineering, design, specification definition, and material selection
• Develop product, technology, and cost proposals in collaboration with Sales
• Coordinate new product production by monitoring progress, supporting manufacturing method planning, and supporting specification adjustments
• Compare and optimise equipment according to production output requirements and implement new investments on time and within budget
• Manage process engineers in new product manufacturing, materialisation, improvement and optimisation of manufacturing competence and capability, cost reduction activities, reverse engineering, and related activities
• Lead, develop, coordinate, and motivate team members to develop process engineering skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of extensive specialist knowledge and competence in staff management
• Demonstrable skills through years of relevant professional experience in the high-technology industry (international industrial company is ideal)
• Extensive project management skills, a high degree of organisational skills, and excellent problem-solving skills
• IT knowledge and IT application skills (SAP, MS Windows, etc.)
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Understanding of refractory metals
