フィールドオートノミーエンジニア/ Field Autonomy Engineer

A renowned vehicle technology company is looking for a Field Autonomy Engineer. The selected candidate will oversee the configuration, deployment, and technical management of autonomous technology in new locations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement on-site configuration of autonomous technology in new locations
• Identify and resolve technical challenges specific to various traffic environments
• Serve as the technical representative to customers and the public
• Conduct demonstrations of autonomous technology for potential clients
• Collaborate with Engineers to develop system features and enhance rider experience
• Update and document lessons learned to strengthen organisational knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, robotics engineering, computer engineering, or a relevant domain
• Experience designing and executing mechanical and electrical hardware
• Prior experience developing or editing software
• Knowledge of basic principles of mobile robotics
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Ability and willingness to undergo a driving record check
• Possess a valid US or Japanese driver’s licence
• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese

応募要件:

• 機械的および電気的ハードウェアの設計と実装の実証済みの実践経験、および/またはソフトウェアの開発または編集経験
• 車両操作および運転スキル
• 有効な米国・日本（所属国）の運転免許証およびクリーンな運転記録
• モバイルロボット工学および/または自動運転車に関する経験歓迎
• C、Python、Bash 環境でのソフトウェア設計の経験歓迎
