プログラムマネージャー/ Program Manager

A global automotive technology company is looking for a Program Manager. The selected candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage programme plans, costs, quality, risks, and timelines, and communicate programme status with customers and business leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams to meet customer and business expectations for performance, quality, capability, cost, and timelines
• Drive programme plans and achieve target metrics in line with the Program Excellence Process
• Evaluate customer requirements from RFQs and SORs with Sales, Engineering, and other key functions
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA&PA, SBM, SQD, SCM, and other departments to define and execute product performance, quality, cost, and delivery plans
• Define and control profitability plans covering price, cost, CAPEX, and R&D expenses with Accounting and Sales
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to timing, cost, quality, and reliability
• Communicate project plans and risks with customers and escalate critical issues internally
• Provide management with programme status and decision-making information
• Lead project Phase Exit reviews
• Lead VE/HLRR, design change transactions, and task force activities including launch and field issue resolution

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technical, Business, or a related discipline
• More than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
• More than 2 years of experience in project leadership, including project management, product development, or manufacturing/quality engineering
• Experience managing customer or supplier projects covering cost, time, and quality
• Knowledge of basic engine-related component development and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
