商業金融マネージャー/ Commercial Finance Manager

A global marketing agency is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager. The chosen candidate will act as the financial and commercial partner to the Managing Directors, providing insight, challenge and analysis to support profitable growth and effective decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the Managing Directors to understand strategic priorities, opportunities and risks that could influence growth and profitability
• Provide clear, forward-looking financial insight to support commercial and operational decisions
• Translate complex financial information into practical recommendations and actions
• Constructively challenge assumptions, plans and decisions where appropriate
• Support a culture of financial ownership and accountability across the business
• Own the monthly commercial performance review process in partnership with the Managing Director
• Coordinate with the FP&A team to analyse performance against budgets, forecasts and prior year
• Provide recommendations for margin improvements or corrective actions and track outcomes
• Assess client, capability and job-level profitability
• Support pricing and discounting decisions through negotiations with client marketing teams and procurement
• Support Managing Directors by evaluating commercial opportunities, including organic and new capability areas
• Support Managing Directors in crafting business cases for talent investments, allocation and strategic initiatives
• Review the financial impact of contractual terms, payment conditions and commercial commitments
• Monitor benefits realisation following major investments or business initiatives
• Work with FP&A and Ops teams to craft and maintain meaningful management information and performance dashboards
• Improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of commercial data for benchmarking and apply AI agents
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and automate recurring analysis

Requirements:

• Experience in a commercial finance, FP&A or finance business-partnering role
• Experience preparing business cases and supporting investment or pricing decisions
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis
• Skilled in MS Excel and experience using finance and reporting systems
• Ability to analyse commercial performance and identify value-creation opportunities
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across functions
• Business level Japanese and English
