買掛金担当アシスタントマネージャー/ Finance AP Assistant Manager

A global sports equipment manufacturer is looking for a Finance AP Assistant Manager. The chosen candidate will oversee accounts payable operations, ensuring invoice processing, payment execution, and compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with local and global projects in the related area, including Indirect Procurement System initiatives
• Assist in managing all AP-related operations, including checking applications such as Purchase/Payment Requests and Expense Reimbursements
• Perform invoice matching and record Accounts Payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Review and validate payment data, and execute payment runs for bank payments
• Maintain e-Tax system access and execute tax payments
• Support Concur audit activities and respond to user inquiries, providing guidance and issue resolution as needed
• Compile and post monthly accrual data
• Create P&L details and B/S details for related accounts
• Prepare cash forecasts for payments
• Assist with internal and external audit requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in AP operations with management experience
• Proficient in ERP System (SAP)
• Strong communication skills capable of building effective relationships across internal departments and external stakeholders
• Possess a valid Japan Bookkeeping Level 2 or equivalent accounting qualification
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in retail industries
• Experience with system projects
