ファイナンスマネージャー/ Finance Manager

A multinational data centre company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will strengthen financial control and governance, improve finance processes, oversee reporting and capital projects, and support strategic business initiatives across Japan. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and accounting analyses
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and governance requirements
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting for Japan entities
• Oversee financial aspects of capital expenditure and construction-in-progress
• Review asset classification, capitalisation, and project accounting
• Lead accounting and finance operations while maintaining effective controls
• Drive process improvement, standardisation, and scalable finance processes
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and regional stakeholders on business initiatives
• Support new systems, business expansion, and strategic projects
• Provide financial insights and advice to business stakeholders
• Support Finance leadership in evaluating new business opportunities and organisational scaling

Requirements:

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or financial control roles
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, internal controls, and financial governance
• Experience managing or auditing multiple legal entities, special purpose vehicles, funds, or complex corporate structures
• Experience reviewing and assessing complex accounting analyses prepared by internal or external specialists
• Fluent level English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in Big 4 audit, accounting advisory, transaction services, structured finance, real estate funds, or similar professional services environments
• Experience working with externally managed accounting, fund administration, or service provider operating models
• Experience in real estate, infrastructure, data centre, construction, or other capital-intensive industries
• Possess a valid CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
