ファイナンシャルコントローラー/ Financial Controller

An international financial securities company is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will oversee all financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide three local finance team members
• Oversee business and legal entities' financial operations
• Manage accounting functions, including billing, receivables, payables, and general ledger
• Support monthly and annual financial closing processes
• Prepare management accounts and quarterly bonus calculations
• Ensure strong internal controls and oversee regulatory compliance
• Lead budget planning, variance analysis, and cash flow projections
• Coordinate audits and prepare statutory accounts
• Liaise with senior finance colleagues across APAC regions
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 8 years of combined accounting and finance experience
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller
• Experience with Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase, Power BI, Alteryx, Adobe Acrobat
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Possess a valid CA, CPA, or CMA certification preferred
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
