ファイナンスコントローラー/ Finance Controller

A global biotechnology company is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will lead financial operations, reporting, and compliance while acting as a key liaison between the Japan office and Korean HQ.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting functions
• Prepare financial statements in line with J-GAAP
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting with Korean HQ
• Ensure tax compliance and manage relationships with Zeirishi and local authorities
• Lead audits and implement internal control frameworks
• Manage intercompany transactions, cost analysis, and investor reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or a relevant domain
• More than 7 years of experience in accounting or finance
• More than 2 years of experience in a controller or managerial role
• Experience in a Japanese corporation or Japanese subsidiary of a Korean or global company is ideal
• Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Knowledge of JGAAP and local tax regulations
• Possess valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Professional level Japanese and English
