上級会計士/ Senior Accountant

An international eCommerce company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will oversee accounting operations, payments, tax matters, reporting, closing, audits and team supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payments for business operations, including vendor invoices and business expenses
• Prepare, review and post journal entries to maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support tax filings, documentation and coordination with tax advisors
• Monitor accounts payable and ensure timely and compliant processing
• Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management and ad-hoc requests
• Support month-end and year-end closing with regional and global finance teams
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
• Supervise team members and provide accounting guidance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or related domain
• More than 5 years of accounting experience (payments, general ledger, and tax in a multinational or fast-paced setting is a plus)
• Knowledge of Japanese GAAP, tax regulations, and accounting practices
• Skilled in MS Excel
• Proficient with accounting/ERP systems
• Business level English and Japanese
