経理スペシャリスト/ Accounting Specialist

An international optical company is looking for an Accounting Specialist. The selected candidate will manage daily accounting activities, financial closing, reconciliations, SAP data management, and accounting-related compliance and reporting in collaboration with the Japan Accounting team. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and annual reports and account reconciliations
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Manage credit activities
• Process invoices, prepare vouchers, and post journal entries
• Enter and upload data into SAP, including master data management
• Process expense reimbursements and manage supporting documents
• Handle accounting-related enquiries from headquarters in Italy
• Support internal and external audits and respond to tax and other regulatory enquiries
• Manage cash activities
• Manage fixed assets
• Manage inventory

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an inventory-based industry and/or multinational environment
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
• High level of integrity and compliance awareness
• Ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
• Ambition to deepen expertise in finance and accounting and grow professionally in the field
• Ability to partner with and guide the GBS Shared Services team based in the Philippines
• Professional level Japanese; intermediate level English
