会計士/ Accountant

A global luxury goods organisation is looking for an Accountant. The selected candidate will support accounting operations, financial closing, reporting, payments, tax, audit and internal controls for the Japan entity.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and annual closing activities for the Japan entity
• Assist with financial statement preparation and review
• Monitor accounts receivable, billing and cash collection
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and upload journal entries
• Process vendor and employee expense payments through banking systems
• Maintain fixed assets, accounting controls and SAP records
• Support tax filings, annual audits and legal document filing
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, lawyers and regional teams
• Participate in stocktaking and cash and asset counts
• Handle ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experiences of accounting / finance in international
  environment (retail / wholesale business)
• Knowledge of monthly and annual financial closing process
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Possess valid 3rd class of Nissho Boki (bookkeeping) qualification
• Native level Japanese (proficient in reading and written English is a plus)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in luxury brands
• Prior experience of business analyst
• Proven experience on SAP system
