財務・総勘定元帳 アシスタントマネージャー/ Finance GL Assistant Manager

A global sports apparel and equipment manufacturer is looking for a Finance GL Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial closing, asset and inventory accounting, reconciliations, audit support, tax documentation, and accounting team activities. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Oversee fixed and lease asset accounting, depreciation, inventory checks, impairment assessments, and IFRS 16 compliance
• Control inventory and balance sheet reconciliations, including PPV reviews and supporting documentation
• Lead intercompany accounting and reconciliation while coordinating balances with subsidiaries
• Support internal and external audits, tax return documentation, and other finance-related requirements
• Train and review accounting staff and participate as a key user in Japan and global finance projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (accounting finance or a relevant domain is a plus)
• More than 10 years of experience in accounting field
• Skilled in ERP System (SAP)
• Possess valid Japan Bookkeeping level 2 or equivalent accounting qualification
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in retail industries
