シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant

A multinational creative and technology company is seeking a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounting activities, financial closings, reconciliations, reporting, tax support, compliance, and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare financial statements and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Manage balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Analyse financial information and provide financial support and advice to management
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Prepare accurate accounting reports and present results
• Identify errors and suggest improvements to efficiency and spending
• Apply financial standards in a timely manner
• Support company and department-level goal-setting processes
• Prepare tax return base documents for liaison with the tax adviser
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and IFRS principles
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
• Manage internal audits to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
• More than 5 years of experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• In-depth understanding of IFRS and awareness of business trends
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end and year-end closing processes
• Hands-on experience with ERP accounting software such as SAP or Deltek’s Maconomy
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
• Professional level Japanese; proficient English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid Nissho Boki grade 2+ or relevant accounting certification
