日本語マネージャー/ Japanese Language Manager

A global internet technology company is looking for a Japanese Language Manager. The selected candidate will lead language quality assurance, resource management, and localisation strategy for the Japanese market.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure language quality for product interfaces and documentation
• Develop and maintain language assets like terminology databases and guidelines
• Manage external and internal language resources and conduct quality reviews
• Serve as the main contact for language-related communication and provide cultural advice
• Implement localisation best practices and ensure consistency across content
• Oversee localisation timelines, quality metrics, and progress reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (translation, localisation, literature studies or IT-related fields)
• More than 5 years of professional experience
• More than 2 years of experience in translation/proofreading (eCommerce, advertising, or marketing domain is ideal)
• Experience with CAT tools, TMS, and LQA process
• Prior experience in IT-related industry and product localisation across app/web settings
• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in English and Japanese
