ビジネスディベロップメントマネージャー/ Business Development Manager

A multinational food company is seeking a Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will develop sales strategies, manage distributor relations, and lead key initiatives to expand the food service business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute long-term sales strategies for the OOH channel
• Align marketing initiatives with company policies and strategic objectives
• Create and implement annual OOH sales plans in line with global guidelines
• Manage distributor relationships and support high-level customer negotiations
• Design and execute OOH Route-to-Market strategies and portfolio plans
• Lead local trade promotions and ensure strategic alignment
• Provide best practices to distributor teams to enhance performance
• Track promotional ROI and manage budget spending
• Oversee BTL activities, market analysis, and product planning
• Assess market positioning and identify strategies to meet sales targets
• Deliver timely and relevant business reporting
• Actively contribute to the Global OOH Channel community
• Support administrative and cross-functional team activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 7 years of experience in a relevant commercial role
• Strong knowledge of FMCG or foodservice ingredient/equipment industry
• Understanding of OOH merchandising tactics, including trade shows and POS activities
• Proficient in distributor management and building strategic relationships
• Skilled in project management, data analysis, and business presentations
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
