シニアコーポレートアプリケーションエンジニア/ Sr. Corporate Applications Engineer

An international semiconductor technology company is looking for a Sr. II Corporate Applications Engineer. The selected candidate will provide technical support to customers, support technical documentation and training, develop university programmes, and manage technical activities on the local website.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and engineering support to customers through phone, email, local website Q&As, direct visits, and Salesforce Case support
• Resolve customer technical issues related to devices and development tools and provide feedback to relevant applications and development tool teams
• Support customers and distributors with official export control documentation
• Proofread translated technical documentation including data sheets, brochures, application notes, and news for technical accuracy and quality
• Support technical publications, including reference textbooks, engineering documents, and application notes
• Assist with customer and distributor technical training, including hands-on sessions and the development of training materials
• Develop university relationships through scholarship programmes, technical lectures, seminars, and student design contests
• Introduce company products to professors and establish microcontroller training environments using company materials
• Manage the technical database and Q&As on the local website
• Upload technical materials and create reference application notes for popular devices and applications
• Report and summarise customer activity on the local website

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or another relevant engineering major
• Experience with microcontroller-based or ASIC-based system development or design for connectivity applications including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, or Bluetooth
• Working knowledge of hardware and firmware for electrical and electronic application systems
• Experience in circuit design using FPGA
• Native level Japanese; good level English
