A global insurance company is seeking a People Operations Lead. The selected candidate will ensure efficient HR service delivery, accurate workforce reporting, and strong operational controls.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly payroll, annual bonuses, and social insurance administration
• Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and HR data management
• Administer Workday and Team Spirit systems and prepare HR reports and workforce analytics
• Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws, statutory requirements, health checks, and occupational health programmes
• Address HR operations enquiries from employees and managers
• Manage HR vendors, drive process improvements, support HR projects, and assist with internal and external audits

Requirements:

• More than 4 years of HR Operations experience in Japan
• Experience in payroll, social insurance, HR systems, and employee data management
• Prior experience working with vendors and multiple stakeholders
• Understanding of Japanese labor law and employment practices
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
